Assessment of Promtion

Promotion Criteria

1. Promotion at the end of the year will be based on attendance, continuous assessment in every subject, work done during the year, and the overall conduct record.

2. Students having attendance less than 70% in the academic year are liable to have their name struck off the rolls. A minimum 60% attendance will be required for promotion.

Assessment Details

3. The Periodic assessments held during the year are notified in the school calendar.

Continuous assessments

4. Continuous assessments ensure regularity. F/A and class tests are important for student progress.

Important Notes

5. No provision for supplementary tests for students who are absent during assessments.

Re-examination

6. There is no arrangement for "Re-examination" or promotion on trial.

Reporting

7. The report must be collected by parents on the stipulated day.

Principal's/Teacher-in-charge's

8. The Principal's/Teacher-in-charge's decision on promotion or failure is final.

Parent Responsibilities

9. Parents are requested to regularly sign the class test copies returned by the teacher.
